New Tank Setup – Day 7

Posted by gerard on May 17, 2010 under Aquarium Info | Be the First to Comment

I took these pictures a couple days ago.   Cleanup crew is in.  I got 12 red leg hermit’s, 10 astrea snails and 2 Mexican turbo snails to start off with.  I’m planning on a doing a water change at the 2 week mark since the tank has cycled already.  Then I will be going for a new fish.  After that I will probably not doing anything for the next month except make sure everything stays stable.  I’ll post another update in a few days.

Support your Local Fish Store - Ocean World Corals

I just found a new aquarium store in Lake Worth, Florida.  They opened a few months ago but I just discovered them last night.  Very nice and clean.  Tons of corals and fish.  I am definitely going to stock my new tank from this shop.

Here are a few new pics taken yesterday.  I re-arranged the live rock a little bit and removed the blue background.  I think the tank looks a lot better better this way.  Anyone have any comments on other cool stuff I could do?
